I really think showing all the different views of the model with various skins and without the exterior skin really helps show the development and thinking process behind your design. Prof Jill (I do miss all the wonderful colors from the computer screen)
I do agree that your modeling process and camera views become strong visual aids in presenting the overall form and hidden views. Does your presentation include animation as well?... Also, possibly color designating the various significant elements of your project. Skin, structure, landscape, etc, may help give us the sense of the families of elements.(background foreground as well)Too many colors may make it too busy. Also, capturing your model with real sun angles( sun and shadow) as a black and white model will reveal the true form and its animated qualities with the introduction of sunlight.
